Even after becoming part of satsang, we should continue to be always alert. Because, even if we are in satsang, we might get the bad and unwanted colors (qualities) of others.
The colors (qualities) of satsang spread slowly in us, while the colors of unwanted people spread faster, even if we live in satsang for one hundred years.
We will not get a single quality of a single-minded devotee, but we will get all the qualities of hundreds of other unwanted people. Those unwanted people have some magic in them that can color us with their color.
Sharp businessmen can sell anything under the sun. All the other souls in satsang who want to spread their influence on us are very sharp like those sharp businessmen.
Scriptures say that ghosts, devils, and haunting souls live comfortably in and around holy places. This is because those evil beings find the right candidates to possess at such holy places.
At Sarangpur Hanumanji temple, every day, so many people are freed from ghosts, haunting souls, and devils. After being chased out of those people, where do those ghosts go to live? They go and find a place near the temple. Where else can they go? And they wait for their chance to find another candidate to enter.
Similarly, knowing that satsang is full of innocent individuals, all the souls who want to spread their qualities to others dress as saints and devotees and enter the satsang to spread their qualities to others.
If we are not careful in satsang, all the ghosts, devils, haunting souls, and impious souls living in satsang are ready to color us with their color. If we are not aware of them, if we are not careful, they make sure we are completely painted in their colors.
We have obtained the rarest of rare satsang. If we have not got such a satsang or understood such a satsang, we would be circling in the cycle of birth and death, and we would fall into the dark well of misery. But with the mercy of Bhagwan we have obtained this precious satsang. Understand it, embrace it, and never leave it whatsoever.
The place where we will not get this supreme Bhagwan anywhere else is this satsang, and the only other place where we will find such supreme Bhagwan is Akshardham. We entered this great satsang to be painted in the colors of Bhagwan.
So, Nishkulanand Swami says that “You have obtained such a priceless satsang. Please be careful to not take the colors (qualities) of others that are not required for you.”
