16. Don’t End Up In Fake Saint By Doubting A Real Saint

When Bhagubhai of Bhadran asked Maharaj, “Maharaj, how does a soul achieve its ultimate good. How could it be free from the cycle of birth and death and reach Akshardham?”

Maharaj replied, “God comes to earth in two forms: As a Saint or as a King.”

Not all kings are Gods. There will be a substantial difference between God as a King and other kings. Similarly, not all Saints are Gods. There will be a huge difference between God as a Saint and other Saints.

We should find out who is real God and who is fake, who is real Sadhu and who is an imposter. If we don’t understand the real Saint, then we may land up believing a con Saint.

Ramayan proves this case with an example.

Ravan planned to kidnap Sitaji. So, he created a golden-deer of Marich. Sitaji was attracted to the deer and requested Lord Ram to gift her the golden-deer.

Lord Ram ordered to Lakshman, “Lakshman, you stay up here and protect Sitaji until I return.”

After some time from a distance Sitaji and Lakshman heard Lord Ram’s calling, “Help Lakshman. Help.”

Sitaji was worried about Lord Ram and asked Lakshman, “Your brother seems to be in trouble. Please go and check.”

Lakshmanji replied, “Sorry Bhabhiji. Ramchandraji ordered me to stay and protect you.”

Sitaji replied, “Do you think that if Lord Ram dies, you could possess me. I would kill myself before that could ever happen.”

First, Sitaji doubted the capabilities of Lord Ram. Second, she doubted Lakshman. Lakshmanji was a real Saint in his whole life. For 14 years he just came to serve Lord Ram and Sitaji.

Now Ravan pretending to be a Saint approached Sitaji who believed him to be real. She trusted him and was captured.

If we doubt the real, we’d end up being cheated, for sure.
