12. God’s Path Is A Guaranteed Path

Eternally in all our lives (past and present) we had been rolling in worldly affairs and we became the master of it. Only in this life we got into Godly affairs.

Does it take eternal time to remove all our worldly stains as we were eternally in it? No. Like how thousands of years of darkness in deep Himalayan caves could be removed with just a light ray, cleaning of worldly stain doesn’t take hundreds of years.

God’s path is a guaranteed path. There is no guarantee in worldly path. If you invest five million dollars in a business, do you guarantee that you would for sure make profits? No one can guarantee. The chance of you losing is more than gaining in worldly path.

God has provided 300% guarantee if you walk the God’s path.

First 100%: In Bhagavat-Gita, Lord Krishna said, “If someone comes towards me, they can never be spoiled in any way for sure.” That is one hundred percent sure that you will never be spoiled in the path of God.

Second 100%: In Varaha Puran, Lord Varaha said to Pruthvi Mata that, “If a devotee does something to me, and at the time of his death even if he is in coma, or his body becomes immovable like a stone or a stiff wood, he should not be worried. I will take care of him and take him to me.” That is another one hundred percent surety.

Third 100%: In Ramayan, Lord Ram said that, “If someone surrenders to me, I will take care of him like a mother takes care of her kid.” That is another 100%.

Total 300%. In business, could you ever get a 300% guarantee? If a kid studies engineering, is there a guarantee that he will get the job for sure?

God’s path is a guaranteed path if we do it with full heart.

Gunatitanand Swami Ni Vato said that Sang (association) is only one reason for a worldly soul to become an aspiring devotee of God. Unfortunately, that is the same reason for an aspiring devotee to fall and become a worldly soul.

Sang is more powerful than destiny. Maharaj said that soul could be influenced by these eight factors: place, time, work, mantra, sang, scriptures, initiation, and meditation. Among all these Sang (association) is completely in our hands.

Place and time depends on our destiny. Our birth place and family doesn’t depend on our wish. It is destined.

Sang is in our hand. Satsang is not determined by destiny. A person is never destined to visit the temple daily. That is his decision. Satsang is not based on your past. Satsang is based on your present decision.

Joban Pagi, Valio Lutaro did lot of impious activities in their life. Later when they completely embraced Satsang, they were able to reach the top of devotional service to Maharaj and Saints. That was completely their decision.

Someone would be very well-behaved person. That doesn’t mean he would get Maharaj. Unless one is in Satsang, he or she cannot get Maharaj.

In the present life, we always get opportunity. We get opportunity to choose our business partners. We get opportunity to choose our friends. We get opportunity to choose our house. We choose friends, or partners, or anything based on some priorities. We should include Satsang as a top priority in the list of priorities, and choose our friends, partners, house, or anything wisely, so that we could maintain Satsang
well and make better progress in the path of God.

We should keep contact with someone better than us and leave the contact of who doesn’t make us better.

Satsang depends 100% on your decision and efforts.
